I’m not getting my Opus login verification code

Step-by-step tips to receive your EHR Authorization Code email quickly and securely

1. How long should the code email take to arrive? Most codes arrive in under 30 seconds. During rare traffic spikes it may take up to 2 minutes. Each new request invalidates the previous code, so wait that long before clicking Resend.
2. Which address sends the code? All authorization codes come from contact@opusbehavioral.com. Add this address and the full domain @opusbehavioral.com to your safe-sender list or email allow-list.
3. Where should I look first? 1. Inbox → search “Opus Authorization Code.”
2. Spam/Junk or Promotions folders.
3. “Other/Focused” (Outlook) or “Updates” (Gmail).
4. My company email uses strict filtering—what then? Ask your IT/email admin to whitelist:
opusbehavioral.com (sending domain)
• IP pool 149.72.178.0/24 (our SendGrid relay)
After changes, wait ~15 minutes and request a new code.
5. Could my browser block the code screen? Possibly. Ensure:
• Cookies are enabled for opusbehavioral.com.
• Ad-block or privacy extensions are paused for our page.
• You’re on a supported browser (latest Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox). If unsure, open an Incognito/Private window and try again.
6. I still don’t get it after the checks—what else can I try? - Confirm you typed the exact email linked to your Opus account.
- Click Resend code once (avoid multiple rapid clicks).
- Check if your mailbox is near its storage quota.
- Ask a colleague to email you; if that also fails, the issue is likely on your mail server’s side.
7. Can I use another email or 2-factor method instead? Opus doesn’t currently support backup emails or SMS codes.
However, any Admin in your organization can switch your account to a different email:
Organization → Users → Edit User → Email Address.
Once the Admin saves the change, your login and future authorization codes will be sent to the new address.
8. When should I contact Opus Support? If you’ve completed all steps above and 10 minutes have passed with no code, reach out:
